The best Sportive in Essex is now on once again and the event is already filling fast! This early season sportive now in its seventh year of running offers riders two great routes through our wonderful county – offering both 150Km and 100Km rides for those new to sportives. We’ve started by picking out both challenging topography and picturesque views along the way. We have feedstops laden with volume and energy food, and when you get back its full-on hot food catering at the finish in a nice relaxing environment after your ride. In addition, we’ve provided toilets and cycle repair facilities en route to keep you going all the way round. At our Brentwood Centre HQ you’ll also find free parking, changing and shower facilities, and for a little extra we have post ride massage facilities too. This then is a ‘high-quality sportive‘ operating far in excess of what you’re used to seeing with other providers. For all these reasons and more – make this your first sportive of the year – you’ll love it! To book on go to our Essex Sportive website. We look forward to seeing you there

    Hi

I’ve signed up for the 100k via Sientries yesterday (Dave Ammon) and i’ve had nothing in my email from them to confirm, pretty sure it all worked but would appreciate someone confirming i am booked on.
Also can you tell me where i can get a tcx/gpx of the route please?

    Thanks

    Dave

No email verification but if you log on to sientries.co.uk the event is under ‘my entries”

What were the gold / silver / bronze guide times? I thought I saw gold at 5’45” and fruitlessly chased that (and shot myself in the foot stopping to assist a puncture afflicted rider in the home stretch…).
Excellent ride as ever, splendid weather if a fair bit breezier than forecast indicated!! First time I didn’t stop to take advantage of the excellent feed stations as I’d taken enough on the bike to get me around without dead time in transition!
Shame the route overlapped with a road running event, but can’t have everything and it was splendid as ever.
